1. Purpose of the service

HumanText offers free AI-based text processing tools, available at humantext.es. The current tools include:

• Text humanizer: transforms AI-generated text so it sounds more natural and human.
• AI detector: analyzes text and indicates how likely it is to have been generated by AI models.
• Text rewriter: paraphrases and rewrites text to improve clarity, style or suitability for different audiences.

The service is provided free of charge, with no prior registration, and may be funded through third-party advertising (Google AdSense).

2. Access and use conditions

Access to HumanText is free and open. By using it, the user declares that they:

• Are at least 16 years old or have the consent of their legal guardians.
• Will use the service for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable law.
• Are solely responsible for the content they enter into the tools.

3. Prohibited uses

It is strictly prohibited to use HumanText to:

• Carry out unlawful, fraudulent or public-order-breaching activities.
• Generate or distribute hateful, violent, pornographic or discriminatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
• Commit academic fraud or any kind of deception in contexts where the use of AI is expressly prohibited.
• Infringe the intellectual or industrial property rights of others.
• Attempt to damage, overload or compromise the technical integrity of the service.
• Perform scraping, mass automation or bot use without express written authorization.
• Spread disinformation or fake news, or manipulate public opinion in bad faith.

4. Intellectual property

All elements of the humantext.es website — design, source code, brand, logo, text and images — are owned by their rightful holders or used under license. Their reproduction, distribution, transformation or public communication without express written authorization is prohibited.

The text that the user enters into the tools is their exclusive property. HumanText claims no rights over the content entered or the resulting text.

5. Limitation of liability

HumanText acts as the provider of a technological text-processing tool. Accordingly:

• We do not guarantee that humanized text will pass every AI detector in all cases. Results are estimates and may vary.
• The AI detector results are probabilistic and do not constitute a definitive or technical verdict.
• We are not responsible for how the user uses the text generated by our tools.
• We do not guarantee continuous availability of the service. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates or other technical reasons.
• We are not liable for direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

6. Availability and changes to the service

HumanText reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice, without incurring any liability towards the user.

We may also amend these conditions when necessary. Changes will be published on this page and, if substantial, announced through a visible banner on the site. Continued use of the service after changes are published implies acceptance of them.

7. Advertising

The website displays third-party advertising through Google AdSense. HumanText does not control the content of the ads displayed, which are managed by Google under its own policies. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party links

The site may contain links to third-party websites. HumanText is not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of those external sites. Access is solely at the user's own risk.

9. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

10. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Spanish law, in particular:

• Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE).
• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
• Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users.

For any dispute arising from the use of the service, the parties submit to the competent courts under applicable Spanish law. You may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
